Matt Kohler

Matthew Kohler specializes in the sales and management of investment grade bonds.  Matthew is known for his professionalism, and his ability to create and maintain relationships with institutional clients and financial advisors.  He has consistently demonstrated a high level of proficiency in servicing all aspects of day-to-day sales and trading of Fixed Income products through the management of each relationship.

Matthew attended William Woods University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  Matthew’s financial industry experience includes serving in a management role at a full-service Insurance brokerage for over 3 years.  In his role as an insurance broker-manager, he received national recognition in 2021 when he was selected as the recipient of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company’s annual “Eagle Award”, the company’s highest honor for excellence in leadership.  Prior to his time in the insurance industry, Matthew worked in the corporate arena, serving in a management role for 8 years.  In his role as a general manager for a Fortune 500 Company, Matthew was recognized every year from 2014-2019 as the Southern Division M.V.P. for achieving the highest bottom line % on his P&L as compared to his peers in the southern half of the United States, he was also recognized as the company’s Rookie General Manager of the Year in 2015. 

Matthew’s community involvement includes serving as a board member for the Christian Non-Profit Organization, 3MT (Mid-Missouri Mission Team).  Additionally, Matthew served on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association’s annual Jefferson City Heart Ball in 2020, 2021 & 2022.
