Fixed Income Trading
Jake’s role as Fixed Income Manager includes responsibility for, and supervision of all trading and investments at Central Capital Markets. His over 6 years of capital markets investment experience has encompassed all major markets; including Treasury, Agency, Money Market, Corporate, Mortgage-Backed, Asset-Backed, Municipal Securities, as well as portfolio management. Jake and the Central Capital Market team are responsible for servicing and/or managing investments accounts for some of Central Bank’s largest and most important clients, including large commercial clients and large government entities.
Jake attended Lincoln University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Prior to his tenure with Central Bank, Jake acquired professional experience through his roles as an Unemployment Insurance Auditor for the Missouri Division of Employment Security, and as a Supervisor of Statistics for the Missouri Office of State Courts Administrator. Jake’s credibility and knowledge of investment markets and the management thereof was greatly enhanced by his successful passing of qualification exams for professional licensure; including Series 52 Municipal Securities Representative, Series 53 Municipal Securities Principal, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and Series 7 General Securities Representative.
In addition to being an active member of Capitol City Christion Church, Jake volunteers his time through his involvement in organizing and coaching youth sports programs. For the past 3 years, Jake has served as a volunteer coach for basketball, baseball, and soccer for programs through Upward Basketball program through the local YMCA and Jefferson City Parks and Recreation.
